Nevada easing restrictions on group gatherings

Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak recently announced that he will further ease restrictions on large gatherings, including conferences and conventions, entertainment venues and large group gatherings, by increasing them to 50% today, March 15. The state will also streamline the process of submitting and approving large gatherings. The new guidance is another step toward rekindling the conference and events industry. The announcement comes as the governor yesterday expanded vaccine eligibility to hospitality and food service workers.

“Las Vegas has been the premier convention and conference venue for many years. We pride ourselves on providing the best facilities, the best services, and, at the moment, the safest place to do business,” said Governor Sisolak. “We are cautiously focused on reopening Las Vegas in the safest way possible for you, your valued customers, our valued employees, and our entire community. I speak with great confidence in the efforts of the resorts, convention centers, and conference organizers… Welcome back! The best places in the world to do business are so much better.”

Through various “Vegas Smart” measures, we have taken a comprehensive approach to implementing strict health, well-being and safety protocols to ensure that visitors, hospitality workers, and communities remain safe. 에볼루션 바카라사이트

The new guidance requires conferences, trade shows and entertainment venues to fill out and submit a large gathering COVID-19 Preparation and Safety Plan Certification Form (“Large Meeting Certification”) that certifies that they will comply with the state’s health and safety requirements and protocols, maintain safe social distancing, wear face coverings, and practice good hygiene and cleaning measures through the state Department of Business and Industry.

“We are ready and eager to welcome back travelers to Las Vegas,” said LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill. “We know there is pent-up demand for the return of face-to-face meetings and conventions and the Las Vegas experience.”

The first citywide convention scheduled in Las Vegas is expected to be World of Concrete, which will take place inside the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 8-10, and will serve as its debut show inside the center’s new $989 million West Hall.
