Through this competition, I gained good experience in 3×3 events. I will continue to love basketball. I will work hard to improve my skills.”
Jecheon’s basketball master “Spears” participated in the men’s opening of the “KBA 3×3 Korea Tour in Jecheon” held at a special court in front of the Jecheon Sports Complex on the 9th.
Spears is a prestigious Jecheon basketball team with more than 20 years of history. Spears, who is also the only basketball team in the Jecheon club in this tournament, is enjoying the two-day 3×3 basketball festival held on the home court with Park Jin-seop (29), Um Joon-yong (29), and Hwang Gun-ha (27) participating in the eldest brother Yang Sang-hee (39).
However, the results of the competition are somewhat disappointing. He failed to adjust to 3×3 and lost two games. Park Jin-seop said, “It’s been a while since I participated in a 3×3 tournament once or twice a few years ago. It is fast to switch offense and defense, and it is difficult to adjust to the rules. I don’t think it’s easy (laugh),” he said, conveying his difficulties.
Eom Jun-yong also said, “I’ve never encountered 3×3. The switch between offense and defense is very fast and there is no break. It has a chewy and exciting charm. I learned a lot,” he said.
There will be a lot to learn from the play of prominent league players just by hearing their names. In response, Park Jin-seop said, “I felt great watching the play of the open teams and the league teams against us. Each team has a clear color and a well-organized structure. “I learn a lot of things,” he said.
Jecheon City and Jecheon City Basketball Association, which have been preparing to host the Korea Tour, held a meaningful Korea Tour 3×3 tournament in Jecheon City, a basketball barren land where large-scale 3×3 competitions have never been held. Jecheon City made efforts to attract i-festa and Korea Tour to revitalize sports basketball and develop basketball in Jecheon City, and overcame various unfavorable factors such as COVID-19 to form a first relationship with Korea Tour this year.
Eom Joon-yong said, “I was eliminated from the preliminary round with two losses, but I deeply think that the best 3×3 tournament in Korea was held in Jecheon and I feel grateful to the organizers. “If the Korea Tour is held in Jecheon next year, I will prepare harder and participate,” he said, promising next year’s tournament.
When asked what Jecheon’s pride was, an unexpected answer came back. Those who mentioned the “OBJ basketball class” in one voice said, “The OBJ basketball class is a specialty of Jecheon. It is the only 스포츠토토 place where you can learn basketball systematically and easily in Jecheon, which is close to a basketball barren land. It is also a famous place in Jecheon,” he boasted.
His skills were low, but his affection for basketball was as good as any other team. Finally, Park Jin-seop and Um Joon-yong said, “Through this competition, I gained good experience in 3×3 events. I will continue to love basketball. “I will work hard to improve my skills,” he said.
