PokerStars Brands VR to Vegas Infinite

Flutter is pleased to announce that PokerStars VR, an innovative virtual reality (VR) product created by its PokerStars brand, has rebranded itself as Vegas Infinite as part of a sweeping overhaul of its free-play social casino video game.

Vegas Infinite represents the next generation in the evolution of the game as a virtual entertainment destination after nearly five years at the forefront of the category PokerStars VR.

The release includes a new, customized 3D virtual cityscape that players can enjoy when exploring Vegas Infinite’s private player suite, luxury casinos and exclusive rooftop exits. Vegas Infinite will soon be available on the new platform, and PC players will be able to use it with other players in Steam VR and Meta Quest VR without a headset. 슬롯머신

Flutter prides itself on leading product innovation across its global brand portfolio. With a unique Flutter Edge where product and technical capabilities are shared within the group, brands like PokerStars can integrate expertise and insights from other parts of Flutter to continue product development.

Since the first release of PokerStars VR in 2018, the product, which provides players with the ability to sit at virtual poker tables and interact with their surroundings in various environments, has only made continuous progress since Flutter acquired the brand in 2021.

As part of that, the team has added blackjack, roulette, slot, kraft, and exclusive rocket rush to its extensive in-game portfolio and offers poker fans spin and go poker, MTT and metaverse poker tour, a flagship poker tournament series. Virtual destinations have also grown into private suites and dress rooms, luxury casino floors in Casino One, high roller gallery casinos, and subscriber-only rooftop exits overlooking the soaring Vegas infinity cityscape.

Player safety has also been a focus during development, with Vegas Infinite using toxmode, an AI live chat monitoring tool, to help its dedicated arbitration team. Players also have access to a variety of in-game safety tools, including options to take time out of the game, set spending limits, publish player reports, and customize the range of interactions with others in the game.

James O’Reilly, director of pokerstars at VR & Innovation, said, “It’s amazing to think that the game has come this far as the fifth anniversary approaches. In state-of-the-art experiments applying virtual reality to poker tables, it has grown into a living entertainment destination offering all the games and experiences played in a supernatural environment with an avid community of players. Today we are more than poker and more than VR. Vegas Infinite said, “We’re taking the player next, and there’s more to come.”
