This year’s $10,400 WPT World Championships in Win Las Vegas will be held from Dec. 12-21, with four departures and a televised final table. That brings 2,960 participants to the first Marque event in 2022, generating $29008,000 in prize money, nearly double the original guaranteed amount. Significant amount guaranteed 413, total prize money claimed by Canada’s Elliot Hewden.

The full schedule for the WPT World Championship Festival has also been unveiled, along with a record $40 million guarantee for the Markque event. The schedule includes more than 30 different support events for poker players at all levels.
The 2023 WPT Prime Championship also followed its blockbuster debut, with a prize pool of $5,267,100 and Stefan Song topping the 5,430 entries in 2022. This year’s WPT Prime Championship will feature a $5 million guarantee and will run from Dec. 7 to Dec. 19 with a final televised table.
There is no shortage of high stakes tournament poker in the overall festive schedule. As previously announced, the $1 million Big One drop will run from Dec. 18-20, representing some of the most prolific names in poker. The festival begins Nov. 29-Dec. 4 with $1 million guaranteed unlimited Holdem multi-flight tournament, followed by a $250,000 guaranteed WPT Ladies World Championship, $2 million guaranteed, $1100 senior championship (50+) and $10,000 senior roller tournaments, with a range of $1 more horses.
