“Superagent” Jorge Mendes, famous for being the agent of Cristiano Ronaldo (Alnasr), is expanding his presence at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
“Mendes, who has eight players, is already dominating PSG,” Spanish media outlet Relevo reported on Aug. 8 (KST).
According to the report, Mendes’ current PSG clients include Keylor Navas, Danilo Pereira, Vitinha, Henato Sanchez, Zaire-Emericka, Manuel Ugarte, and Marco Asensio.
Ugarte and Asensio were brought in this summer along with Lee Kang-in from Mallorca.
Most recently, Mendes completed the signing of Portugal international forward Gonçalo Hamus. It’s a one-year loan, but it’s a “big deal,” with a transfer fee of €80 million that PSG will have to pay Benfica on a permanent deal.
“Mendes has a good relationship with PSG’s sporting advisor Luis Campos,” says L’Equipe, “and their relationship goes back more than 20 years. They became particularly close when Campos was sporting director of AS Monaco (2013). Radamel Falcao, João Moutinho, José Rodríguez, Fabinho, Ricardo Carvalho and Bernardo Silva were all players at Monaco at the time,” says Mendes.
Mendes’ influence at PSG began with Angel Di Maria in 2015, when he was still playing for Man United, and has continued to grow. “Not only did Mendes transfer players (clients) to Paris, but he was also involved in the transfers of Fabian Luis and Carlos Soler last season,” says L’Equipe. This season, he was also involved in the transfer of Lee Kang-In, who plays for Mallorca.”
Mendes has previously made a name for himself by dominating certain clubs, including FC Porto, Valencia, and Wolverhampton. Mendes’ new home is PSG. The PSG squad is now nondescript without Mendes. 바카라사이트
