South Korea’s men’s and women’s hockey teams have been drawn for the final qualification tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as they look to return to the Olympic program .According to the International Hockey Federation’s (FIH) latest Olympic qualification draw for men’s and women’s hockey, the Korean men’s team will compete in Pool B alongside Spain, Austria and Egypt. Twelve nations will compete in the men’s and women’s hockey tournaments at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and six have already qualified, including host France and the five winners of the continental championships. The Korean women’s team, ranked 12th in the world, has been placed in Group A alongside Belgium (4th), Ireland (13th) and Ukraine (28th). The final Olympic qualifying tournament for both men and women will begin on January 13, 2024 in Valencia, Spain .For the men, Group A is comprised of Belgium (4th), Ireland (13th), Japan (15th), and Ukraine (29th), with the top three of the eight nations in Group B advancing to the Olympic Games. On the women’s side, Group B is made up of Spain (8th), Canada (16th), Great Britain and Malaysia (18th), with the top three of the eight nations in Group A also qualifying. Great Britain is represented by No. 7 England, No. 17 Scotland and No. 26 Wales.
